Dr. Camille Medina conducted her dental training in her hometown at the University of Puerto Rico, where she obtained a Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree, graduating at the top of her class. In order to further her expertise, she then completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital in San Juan, PR. She then left her country to pursue her dream of becoming a Periodontist and completed her residency training in Periodontology at the University of Florida. There she was granted a Master’s Degree in Dental Sciences for her research on utilizing growth factors for periodontal regeneration in complex situations. She received extensive training and certification in advanced sedation techniques, including intravenous conscious sedation and advanced care life support.
She enjoys all aspects of patient care and has a passion for the field of periodontology and oral health. She is dedicated to staying well-informed of the latest techniques and innovations by frequently attending national and international conferences in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Dr. Medina firmly believes in returning her services to the community and volunteers to improve oral health in Florida and abroad in places such as Puerto Rico and Honduras.
In her spare time, she enjoys working out, the beach and other outdoor activities, spending time with friends, and traveling to Puerto Rico to visit her family and enjoy the beautiful island of enchantment.
