The dental hygiene department is an integral part of both your initial and maintenance therapy. They are part of the front line of your periodontal treatment.
Our receptionists and clerical support staff work hard to ensure the smooth scheduling of appointments as well as providing information regarding insurance and payment options. Many of our hygiene and administrative staff have been working at the Periodontal Health Center for over 20 years.
The surgical assistants provide an equally important service to both the doctors and patients. Their high level of skill and commitment to patient care are essential to maintaining the efficient and comfortable dental experience you will receive at the Periodontal Health Center.
Cathy is a Tampa native. Cathy began her career in the dental field in1997 by graduating from Erwin Technical College. She received a certificate for Dental Assisting with expanded functions and x-ray certification for the state of Fl. Cathy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2007. Over the years, Cathy has worked and managed many areas of the dental field, including workers compensation and various dental specialties office. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and zumba fitness.Back
Maria has worked in Periodontal Health Center for over 13 years, but has been working in Periodontics for over 25 years. She began her dental career in Mexico and then in New York before moving to Florida . She worked as a Surgical Dental Assistant for over 18 years, with dedication and hard work she is now one of our Dental Hygienist with a license to administer local anesthesia. She’s fluent in Spanish and English. In her free time She enjoys working out and spending time with her family.Back
Dianne has worked for Dr. Lieber and Dr. Stilley for over 20 years as a Dental Hygienist. Dianne also works as an Adjunct Instructor at PHSC in the Dental Hygiene Program. Dianne has done extensive continuing education in order to provide the most current treatment modalities for our patients. With great pride, she took home an award for the Dental Team Member of the Year from the Florida Dental Association in 2019. Dianne has included licensure in Dental Local Anesthesia as an acquired asset. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to bicycle and read.Back
Kristen graduated from the dental assisting program at HCC in 2008 and she also has her AA degree. She has been a surgical assistant at PHC since 2008. She enjoys assisting because she genuinely loves helping people. In her spare time she loves painting and going on outings with her husband and daughter.Back
Nikki Graduated from the dental assisting program at Erwin Technical Center in 1993. She received her certification in dental assisting and radiology. She also went on to further her career and received certifications in Phlebotomy, first aid, HIV/Aids, EKG, EEG, CNA with Florida medical prep In 2010 . With these certifications she was able to test for her certified nurse technician PCT,PCA,CNT. With the NHA in 2010 she received certification as a nurse technician. Nikki joined the PHC team in 2018. She enjoys using her 27 years of experience helping our patients maintain good oral health.Back
Jasmine graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Pasco Hernando State College in 2016, graduated as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Her gentle touch and friendly chair-side manner helps patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit. One of Jasmine’s favorite parts of dentistry is seeing and being apart of the positive life-changing results that the doctors provide for the patients. Outside of the office, Jasmine enjoys cooking and trying new recipes, spending time with friends and family, gaming, and playing with her two fur babies.Back
